We believe there are Seven Essentials to having a vibrant relationship with Jesus:

Scripture

1  We believe that God has made His will known to us through scripture.  We believe that knowing and understanding God can only come by one's commitment to knowing Him through scripture and we are committed to teaching scripture to anyone who wants to learn.

Salvation

2  We believe that salvation only comes through one's faith in God and what He has done to His son Jesus.  We believe there is no Salvation without Jesus and we celebrate His acts of Salvation in every way we can.

Sanctuary

3  We believe that God's church is His masterplan to share His plan of Salvation to a world that needs to be saved.  We believe that God's church is His most valuable treasure because in His church are people who have chosen to commit themselves to knowing God and to partner up with Him to share His goodness and grace to a world that doesn't know Him.

Sabbath

4  Our church believes that God's Law in the 10 commandments is a reflection of His character as well as His will for His people.  The Sabbath is God's day of worship as well as His memorial as the God who created this world and His rulership over it.  We honor Him by Honoring His command to keep His Sabbath Holy as well as keeping His Eternal Law.

Second Coming

5  We believe that our life here on earth is temporary.  We were created for eternity and our hope in life is based on believing what Jesus told us that He is coming again to take His children to heaven.

Spirit of Prophecy

6  This term is found in Revelation 19:10 and it describes Jesus testimony as the Spirit of Prophecy.  This is God's gift to those who have given their lives to Jesus.  Jesus testimony through prophecy is that with all the chaos in the world, He is always in control and He tells all His people what to expect through prophecy.  Understanding prophecy is understanding God's plan for the times of the end of the world's history.

Service

7  We believe that God calls all those who follow Him to a life of service.  It is in obeying His unique and special calling to all of us that He reveals His character as well as His will to His children.  Obedience to His will draws us all closer to Him.

About Seventh-day Adventist

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.

When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.

Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
